Origami has so much potential to be more than just a piece of art. The concepts behind it can be applied to many things for practical uses. • Origami in STEM Research: Recent STEM research has started including origami more often, and it may be applied to many more designs in the future. For the subpage on origami in STEM research, a simple introduction of the 5 designs I find most interesting are provided. They may cause significant changes in fields like engineering, astronomy, medicine, and marine biology in the next few years. 

• Easy and Fun Origami Applications: By combining a lot of simple origami pieces together, origami can be used to make designs that are convenient to use at home. I have made use of the origami I know by combining them to form designs that are useful for me in accomplishing purposes like storage, school projects, and many other things. In the subpage for easy applications of origami, I have provided some examples of the designs I made by combining simpler ones to make practical use of origami. Though a little time consuming, these are really fun and worth trying if you like origami!
